How many ranks are there? What do they look like?
There in total 10 ranks. These are (in order):
1. Private:
2. Private First Class:
3. Corporal:
4. Sergeant:
5. Master Sergeant:
6. Warrant Officer:
7. First Lieutenant:
8. Major:
9. Colonel:
10. General (moderator)
How does the ranking system work? How do I earn ranks?
Whenever you upload media, talk in the forums, get 'likes', comment, get video featured on the front page, etc. You will gain internal points. Each rank has a certain threshold of points needed. When you rank up you earn more site privileges.
What do I get for higher ranks?
Once you earn additional ranks you gain more site privileges/features. These include but are not limited to:
1. More authority.
2. More flexible upload options.
3. If you gain high enough ranks - HD videos (to be implemented) Alternatively you earn HD watching rights if you're an ApacheClips supporter.
