How does the Karma System work?

The Karma system is very simple: You can 'like' or 'dislike' a comment or post by selecting so. For every 'like' a person receives they will gain (internal) points which will help them gain ranks. You also get a small amount of these points yourself  just by 'liking' or 'disliking' others(Although it is small). We decided to have a karma system like this, in order to encourage more people to give feedback to others. Furthermore, the 'likes' or 'dislikes' that a post receives are instantly viewable to everyone.

Do I have to participate in the Karma system?

The Karma system is completely optional. By participating however, you will gain (internal) points which will help you rank up. The more ranks you gain, the more site privileges you will unlock.

How do I 'like' or 'dislike' a post?

At the bottom of every post or comment there are two buttons appropriately named: "Like" or "Dislike". Simply select one of the two.

Select an option here to specify how you would like your search query to be treated. 'Any words' will return the most numerous but possibly least relevant results, while 'Complete phrase' will return only results that contain exactly what you are searching for.
