Children hurt in Lurgan explosion

Three children have been injured in an explosion in Lurgan, County Armagh.
A no-warning bomb went off in a bin at North Street in the town as police investigated reports that a device had been left at the Model Primary school.
The bomb blew a hole in a metal fence and the children - two aged 12 and one aged two - were injured by debris, suffering cuts and shock.
The bomb went off at a junction where police would have been expected to put up a cordon around the school.
A number of homes had been evacuated in Brownlow Terrace due to the suspect object at the school. That alert is continuing.
There is currently another security alert in Kilmaine Street, centred on a builder's yard. It is understood a controlled explosion has been carried out by the Army.
A number of homes have been evacuated in various locations in Lurgan. The train service between Moira and Lurgan has been suspended.
Chief Inspector Sam Cordner it was "an absolute miracle" that the children were not more seriously injured "by this sickening attack on the most vulnerable members of our community".

"This no-warning explosion occurred in North Street in Lurgan and was an obvious attempt to kill police or injure police officers providing a service to this community as they responded to a neighbouring area following a very vague warning that a device had been left at a local school," he said.
"Local police will not be deterred from delivering a service to the community that they deserve, despite the threat from these criminal terrorists."
There have been a number of bomb attacks on security forces by dissident republican terrorists this month, including a 200lb device which exploded outside Strand Road police station in Londonderry.
Dissidents are also believed to have been responsible for leaving booby-trap bombs under the cars of a soldier, policewoman and civilian police station guard in Bangor, Kilkeel and Cookstown.
'Despicable'
SDLP assembly member Dolores Kelly said the Lurgan bomb was a despicable act.
"This was a despicable attempt to draw police in and then set off a bomb precisely where they would have been trying to keep other people back out of danger, and that is why the children were injured by debris from the explosion.
"There are two other security alerts in the town, one in a builder's yard. People are absolutely furious and no wonder," she said.
Sinn Fein's John O'Dowd described it as senseless and said those responsible were oppressing the nationalist community.
"Those who planted this device in the middle of this residential area obviously do not care who they hurt or kill and are void of any sense of social or political responsibility.
"The leaderships of the groups behind this senseless behaviour have to accept responsibility even if their membership is incapable of doing so," he said.

Not to forget that the US was the main financial supporter of the IRA for 30 years.

The ILNA also trained many countries in bombs, IEDs and how to obtain weapons and explosives for other countries as well as how to hide them.
These are evil people and should be dead of behind bars. The remnants of the IRA need to let go or move on somewhere else and let these children live in peace.

A bunch of third generation Irish immagrants from South Boston thinking they could somehow reconnected with their old home land.
