View Full Version : My baby has been born :)
Stark

Finally...
After being two weeks overdue my wife has done what I thought would never happen.
She has given birth to a 3.6kg "heavy" Spartan baby boy.
<img src=""> The guy us already a fighter and nearly clawed my left eye out.
Baby and mother are both very good and I am getting into being a father fast and furious.
One of the midwifes was a little rough to the little dude (at least it looked to me that way)
And all I was thinking was - Bitch taker your fucking hands of my son!!! lol
Oh btw his name is Kristofers which is a Scandinavian Nordic typical name since my wife is latvian.
You can with the little spartan and his mother and maybe myself as well all the best in this
forum thread.

Congratulations, Now everyday you will feel a reason to get out of bed {no matter how ruff you feel}, and it will have nothing to do about yourself. No greater sense of motivation to a man that that of providing for a family. It is through offspring that man reaches immortality. Bravo Zulu - That boy looks like a linebacker, Best wishes to mom too.

Congrats!! Being a dad is awesome and when your son gets about 2 years old,
Raise him in the ways of the Gun. Teach him that being a "normal" and sitting on the sidelines waiting for politicians to change the world with useless talking isn't acceptable. Teach him that great men cross oceans and continents to change the world for the better.

Congratulations mate! I know it was hard work for you, we were all worried about you, so I hope you are resting now, giving the liver a chance to make a come back. Let Mrs. Stark look after everything, its what they were designed to do. The Russians have 25 of em, used to pop em out in the potato fields and keep picking spuds, fine women they are.
Feel free to go fishin, huntin, shootin, for a few weeks, leave em alone to bond.
I bags the kid for Carlton Football Club, http://www.carltonfc.com.au/ , gotta get in before someone that follows Collingwood does. PM me your addy and I will send the poor little bugger a Jumper to keep him warm.
Well done Mrs. Stark! 5 fingers and toes, barracks for Carlton, excellent job Ma`am! Semper Fi! outstanding, carry on!

A poem for your newborn Spartan warrior:
Courage:
For no man ever proves himself a good man in war
unless he can endure to face the blood and the slaughter,
go close against the enemy and fight with his hands.
Here is courage, mankind's finest possession, here is
the noblest prize that a young man can endeavor to win,
and it is a good thing his city and all the people share with him
when a man plants his feet and stands in the foremost spears
relentlessly, all thought of foul flight completely forgotten,
and has well trained his heart to be steadfast and to endure,
and with words encourages the man who is stationed beside him.
Here is a man who proves himself to be valiant in war.
With a sudden rush he turns to flight the rugged battalions
of the enemy, and sustains the beating waves of assault.
And he who so falls among the champions and loses his sweet life,
so blessing with honor his city, his father, and all his people,
with wounds in his chest, where the spear that he was facing has transfixed
that massive guard of his shield, and gone through his breastplate as well,
why, such a man is lamented alike by the young and the elders,
and all his city goes into mourning and grieves for his loss.
His tomb is pointed to with pride, and so are his children,
and his children's children, and afterward all the race that is his.
His shining glory is never forgotten, his name is remembered,
and he becomes an immortal, though he lies under the ground,
when one who was a brave man has been killed by the furious War God
standing his ground and fighting hard for his children and land.
But if he escapes the doom of death, the destroyer of bodies,
and wins his battle, and bright renown for the work of his spear,
all men give place to him like, the youth and the elders,
and much joy comes his way before he goes down to the dead.
Aging, he has reputation among his citizens. No one
tries to interfere with his honors or all he deserves;
all men withdraw before his presence, and yield their seats to him,
the youth, and the men his age, and even those older than he.
Thus a man should endeavor to reach this high place of courage
with all his heart, and, so trying, never be backward in war.
Tyrtaeus of Sparta
