http://imgs2.kavkazcenter.com/eng/content/2010/06/17/12229_1.jpg Four years ago, on June 17, 2006, Abdul-Khalim Saydullayev accompanied by 5 Mujahideen arrived in the city of Argun to meet with some of the commanders of the Mujahideen.
As it turned out later, a car, with a Chechen president inside, driven in a private household in the "Indian settlement" of the city, attracted attention of the ringleader of city department of the FSB, stationed in Argun. Approximately at the same time in the next quarter, the occupiers and the local puppets just decided to hold a so-called "cleansing operation".
A Russian invader, accompanied by one minion, had been sent for checking to the house, where the car stopped off. Having entered the courtyard of the house and talked with the owner, they suspected something was wrong. However, the owner the house was able to convince the puppet that it is better not to take any action, because otherwise there will be many casualties.
After that, Mujahideen with Sheikh Abdul-Khalim got into the car and began to leave the house. But at the last moment the Russian invader ran to the car and shouted "I can see there only one man, now we are finish him off quickly", and tried to open the door. In response, he got headshot. A fierce exchange of fire started after that.
Russian and their henchmen drew up forces to shootout site. Mujahideen with Sheikh Abdul-Khalim took up a defensive position behind the foundation of an unfinished house nearby.
The fierce fighting lasted for several hours. According to the report of the participants in this battle, Sheikh Abdul-Khalim raised himself a little for firing, and at that moment a bullet hit him in the temple.
He died immediately. He did not incur any other injuries. The Mujahideen combated approximately about an hour, then went on breakthrough and break out of the blockaded area. None from the Mujahideen did suffer.
The participants of the battle reported that they confidence in the elimination of two Russian invaders and 4 their puppets (not to mention the large number of wounded), among whom the very chief of the FSB, who had noticed the car entering house. However, the victims from the invaders and puppets, according to the information of villagers, turned out to be much higher.

From memoirs of journalist Akhmad Sardali:
We with Sheikh Abdul-Khalim were not just knew each other, but were living next door. Abdul-Khalim was younger than me by 8 years, and grew up in front of my eyes. In my memory, he would remains as a boy who sitting near an irrigation ditch and with a stick picking any unwary insects, carried away by the current. "Boy, what are you doing?" - we were turning to him. The kid pointedly responding, "I'm protecting God's creations".
Abdul-Khalim never did cross the road a man senior on age. Sensible for his age, he looked at the world by not child's eyes, and there were wisdom of an adult lighting in them. Abdul-Khalim was modest in dialogue, in clothes and in the way of life.
Once, he was given a Zhiguli car. Embarrassed by this, he was not accepting the gift, but as soon as the grantor withdrew, Abdul-Khalim, leaving his gift in the court yard, immediately turned to one of our distressed comrades Abubakar (Shaheed/Martyr, Insha'Allah!) and insisted that he took the car for himself.
"You need it more Abubakar. Your family is large and in need, and it is easy for us with Fatima". In his youth, the future Sheikh was never seen at any entertainment, you could share with him, and I had never heard that he responded badly about someone.
"All he had done - he done himself - he was answering. This is how was our Abdul-Khalim towards the people around him.
In adulthood, he was a Muslim, whose actions were worshiping in the same degree that it is the performance of religious rites. He was constantly engaged in good works, and aspired to the goodwill of Allah.
He possessed a deep and sincere faith, and left justifying the purpose of his existence in this life, which is defined with the words of God: "And I created Jinn and Mankind only in order that they might worship Me".

From the message of Sheikh Abdul-Khalim about the future pan-Caucasian Islamic State:
I explained that in Islam there is no such title (post) as a president. There are Islamic terms: Emir, Caliph, Imam, even Sultan. In Chechen language it means a head, a leader.
We intend to bring everything in accordance with Islam and we are working on it, and we will inform you about further instructions.
We should understand that while a president's power is limited by the borders of Chechnya, the power of an Emir extends to all Northern Caucasus.
I consider myself not deserving this post and I did not want to become an Emir merely to be able to rule, but I would become the Emir if it will make Muslims glad.
Thus, if we introduce this post, the governing must be appropriate, and it is our direct duty as Muslims. We accepted oaths from the Mujahideen of Caucasus and accordingly, we must be responsible for them.
Until now there was Chechen republic of Ichkeria, but today we are thinking about a change in this issue and a pan-Caucasian state. The territories we were responsible for until now were limited by CRI, but now these territories have expanded and we are responsible for them. In political aspect we are ready to declare a pan-Caucasian state. Now we are discussing our strengths and capabilities.
All issues regarding a reorganization of our state's structure we have discussed with Abu Idris (Shamil Basayev) and informed other commanders.
We are considering declaration of the Islamic State and when we will decide that the time has come, we will issue a special statement, and there is no doubt about that. We are moving towards that.
It will be either a Caliphate, or Imamate, but the fact is that we are working on it.
I am thinking about a reaction from the non-Islamic world to that statement and about the condition of our diaspora abroad. It is understandable that they may encounter some problems, but if the time has come, then we can't delay the declaration of the Islamic State and I am thinking about it.
After the declaration, for example, of an Imamate, all institutes of CRI will be abolished, including the parliament which is located abroad, they will not represent CRI any more. But infidels for sure will try to use ex-Ichkeria's institutes against us. Even at the present moment we see how they, while not recognizing us, but when they need, they speak about Ichkeria, its leaders and representatives.
So there are suspicions that infidels will try to use that element against us. But nevertheless, we will continue to move in that direction.
Moreover, I am considering a statement where it will be said that the war will continue till the total liberation of the Islamic lands (Caucasus).
We are considering it and we are preparing and when we will be ready we will make it. Therefore we are looking at the situation, studying it and consulting with each other.
We have to do it at the first opportunity, because we don't have any right to delay this issue. We even don't have any right to leave without our help other Muslims, who are oppressed by infidels.
The one who comes out against our Islamic state is wrong according to the Sharia, and he can't speak about it as my representative. And nobody has a right to hamper your efforts in that, and we will not let anyone to do it while you are carrying out your duty, and I want you to remain on your post of information and press minister.
I ask you to strain as much efforts as possible in this direction, including the web-site. Work, speak and speak more, as much as possible.
Of course, the West will talk about a fundamentalist-islamist who came after Maskhadov and changed state structure, although even by their rules (, just for the note), (Sharia) changes were introduced during Maskhadov's rule, even though they portrayed him as a democrat"...
