Here is my heli, RC anything is addictive and expensive. Want to build a scale .50 size electric cobra but models only come in 60-90 size and little .36 size.....sucks but apaches come in 50.....would build an electric if i do eventually build a scale model.
Never messed with planes, I would probably wreck it.

Nice bird you got there! funny you fly chopper and you think you would crash a plane?I think you would do just fine.

Hi all,This video is my first try with the camera mounted on the right side of the plane.the problem is I fly mostly counter clock wise as a result I film a lot of sky. Also I got this wave in the video due to motor vibration,so I added dampeners to the mount and mounted the camera on the left side. The results are amazing!New video to come soon

Cool vid, I could fly a plane no doubt, landing a plane I have never done and I could see myself putting the prop into the dirt or busting up landing gear. Whole trick with a heli is to steer the nose and ignore the tail while imagining you are in it so you dont lose orientation and get your controls mixed up. If that doesnt work for you turn your body so your chest is always facing the direction of the nose, if its behind you turn your back to it and look over your shoulder - no worries about tilting to the lowside then.
Everything else is just getting used to the bird, how much pitch/cyclic to put in to start forward flight followed by how much pitch to take out once you start moving forward. If you leave the pitch in you will climb because of more air passing over the blades.

Hey Mel
It's a older camera called a DXG-521 and it's not small about the size of a pack of 100's cigs.My plane handles it fine the voyager has a 6' wing on it.It's funny you ask I'm going to look at new camera today with HD so better video to come!Stay tuned.
Also I just ordered a key chain camera on ebay here: http://stores.ebay.com/linjiechong I got the link from RC groups they have had good luck with these cameras and decent video(for 8 bucks what more can you ask for!)When it comes I will mount it to my Stryker and post here.
Peace.
Can't wait to see those clips.Been looking for a mini-cam to use for hunting and fishing.Something a little more manageable than my Sony Handi-Cam.All the small cams that I have looked at have bad low light gathering capabilities.Good luck on your project Perocity.

Traxxas makes a decent little camera for mounting on rc vehicles. Seen footage from one mounted on a hpi savage and the quality was pretty nice, I could see it working on a heli or plane

Hi all
As promised here is my new video shot with Samsung TL110 HD camera and the amazing 808-Mini spy cam.

I highly recommend both these cameras. The mini cam is not for everyone, if your not technically minded you may have trouble with this little gem.First off it does not come with a memory card( I recomend 4G) second the USB cord it came with is worthless and so are the directions. Also you need to have video converting software. If anyone has an interest in this cam contact me. I will link you with all the info how to get this think working.

Hi mel
Sent a PM- let me know if those links are good. Also I forgot to mention the video software, wich is not essential your windows media player should do fine.I use Replay media converter to convert files so I can use the video in my editing studio software.
