I'm not a huge football fan by any stretch of the means, but since '98 I get Cup fever every 4 years and alter my sleep schedule to watch.

In terms of who I root for: I root for England. Why? Because to them the game MEANS SOMETHING. The last thing I ever want to see is for the US to win a World Cup. It would enfuriate the rest of the world, because culturally we don't take it seriously at all. This is the World's Game, and I think we should respectfully not even field an International team. Call my beliefs unpatriotic or whatever, but there's alot of cold, hard truth in what I say and believe.

It's entertaining watching England's rabid, incensed fans during a match. Those guys are bleedin crazy!!
