Some wonderful photos,
we still have not grasped that;

As a footnote, I spent my younger years of service in Germany, stationed at, Sennelager Paderborn, Fallingbostel and Berlin. Were a hell of a lot of panzer's and SS panzer's were during WWII.
on the back of the price list there was a picture of Hitler, they turned it around on his birthday and date of death. When we found it they were a bit concerned, me ever the mug bought them a beer and the landlord translated, he is a panzer soldier the drink is for all that died on all sides except the, Russians. I then had the honour of speaking to a Tiger Tank driver. I did not go in much after that, but when I did I had a schnapps free.
Might have been a lot different if, they had bombed our, Fish and Chips shop
