sorry,this bill was passed last Sunday night and signed by ''o'' on Thursday ,it's now law,,you think the 2,600 page bill is bad,,just wait for the 100,000-500,000 pages of regulations that will go along with it,,I'm afraid all the competent people have left the congress and senate years ago,,these Democrat bills have been written up for 10-20 years just waiting for these idiots to get back in power,,

just wait for amnesty for illegals ,its next,probably 2,000-3,000 pages ,remember this is done to make us give up and not fight back by over whelming the system

If they gave all illegals amnesty... I cannot fathom how that would change America. I wouldn't put it past Obama though. Giving them amnesty would definitely lock in the Mexican vote in the 2012 election. Speaking of that, how do elections work if you are deployed overseas during the election? Do they have polling stations set up on the FOBs and such or do you just not get to vote? I would assume they would have some way of voting. Not sure though. I just hope they do not give all illegal aliens amnesty that would be like opening the border and asking for everyone to come over.

by law you should be given a absentee ballot

Law states that you are given an absentee ballot from your home state by your representatives before the voting window is open, this is so that you can mail it back in time. Here is the problem you have representatives who send them out a week or days before the vote is to take place. If you manage to get a hold of one before the week long trip it takes to get back to the states they may simply not count them.....lets see, 2004,2006,2008 a majority of absentee ballots were not counted and simply thrown away,yes this happened in those elections, my vote never got counted in the 2004 elections (disliked bush but hat k3ry wurst3b) His whole troops in Iraq are dumb comment was a tad upsetting.
