Allergy sufferers filling up waiting rooms

PHOENIX - The weather has been nice lately, but that hasn't exactly made people feel good. Doctor's offices are filled with allergy sufferers.
Many people may want to golf or see a Cactus League game, but allergies are keeping them from doing so.
"I've probably had about 15 patients today [Thursday] with that same exact complaint, that 'I don't seem like I ever have allergies but now I'm feeling terrible'," said Dr. James Osborne.
In Phoenix, allergy season never seems to end.
"Since it's warm here all year long we have pretty much a year-round growing season," Osborne said. "We've always had a problem with people having allergens in the air, but the problem is when we get significant rainfall we get a lot more growth here."
One way to help yourself, Osborne said, is to check the forecast. If the Air Quality Index is above 150 you will want to stay inside as much as you can.
