Some of the spammers are the same.....Need to do IP bans.
Seems like all topics being posted nowadays are spam.
Mods do a good job at tackling the problem, However I do not see why IP bans are not being done....It would result in a cleaner forum and less crap work for the mods to tend to.


This is down right fucking stupid now.


I already suggested IP bans....or have new forum users access to limited probation areas of the forum until a certain post count is achieved..Most spammers would not waste their time on that.
But fuck it, I guess seeing page after page of closed spam topics is cool.

Is there a cheap way to minimise the spamming.
I feel it is, carpet surfing and dropping onto this site,
even so its bloody annoying all the same

agreed. For some reason its been happening more from these couple of days.

We need to look into this, maybe AC already is.

Stark can use a captcha system or a little "What's 1 + 3 =?" question that needs to be answered correctly for registration to be completed.

I have a look at it fellas, I generaly speaking don't like to IP ban since there is always the chance that some poor bugger
is getting banned as well.
Overall the Bots use probably a proxy anyways.
