I actually just watched this the other day. Ralph Fiennes was perfect for this role. He was so believable in it. Amon Goethe was part of the Totenverkopf SS, right? "The Death's Head Brigade?"

Looks as though it was taken in 1941. Have to look out for the movie for my collection.

That's one thing I really appreciated about Schindler's List. It looked as if it were shot on a 1940's camera. Lent a real sense of realism to the movie, and I doubt it would have had that much effect in color, because there wasn't much in that part of the world. Everything in the 1940's was drab and gray anyways, especially in Poland.
