Anyone calling bullshit on this or have info on such ordinances being used or other posts like this on the site?

On 17 January 2009, Israeli forces bombed a school run by the United Nations agency for Palestine refugees (UNRWA) in Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip. Around 1,600 Palestinians from the northern Gaza Strip, mostly families including young children, sought refuge at the school to escape Israeli air strikes that were targeting homes in densely populated areas. At least two children were killed in the attack and another dozen wounded by the white phosphorus bombs fired at the school.

The bombing was not an isolated incident of Israel targeting UN institutions and personnel since it launched a military siege against the Gaza Strip on 27 December 2008. At least 43 civilians were massacred on 6 January as they took shelter at the al-Fakhoura school in Jabaliya refugee camp. UN personnel have been shot and killed as they attempted to conduct relief operations in the Gaza Strip. Tons of desperately needed aid were destroyed on 15 January when Israeli forces shelled the UNRWA warehouse in Gaza City with what is suspected to be white phosphorous.

Unfortunately there seems to have been wide scale use of white phos by the Israelis. At the time there were a lot of questions being asked about its use when video report after video report showed the distinctive pattern formed by white phos shells.

The other thing is, that where the UN was involved you can almost accept their reports. But the Palestinians make photo ops and take multi angle pics of the same scene, showing the same people.

There was a pic recently posted here or some other site, that showed white phos being used in Afghanistan.

not to stick up for the isrealis,but why is it when they stick-up to stop the 10-50 morters and rockets coming into there country everyday that they are doing something wrong,i just wish they[isreal] would finish this war theyve been in for the last 40+ years,,then maybe those terrorists would leave us alone

For some reason this smells like another "Pallywood production" to me... As Charlie said, the Palestinian militants are notorious for making things look like something else, shooting the same incident from multiple angles, and making what was really an isolated incident look like a series of intentional attacks...

And for fucks sake, why the hell does every news site refer to white phosphorous and napalm as chemical weapons? They are INCENDIARY.

news always reports it as chemical because they are just after ratings.....reporters are as bad as lawyers
