Iraq Reports Drop in Civilian Deaths
November 30, 2009
Associated Press

BAGHDAD - Iraqi officials say fewer than 90 civilians were killed in violence in November in one of the lowest monthly death tolls since the U.S.-led invasion in 2003.

Figures compiled from various Iraqi ministries say a total of 88 Iraqi civilians were killed in violence last month. This compares with more than 300 killed in October, which included a major bombing in Baghdad.

Violence from insurgent attacks and sectarian clashes has been sharply down this year, but at least two large-scale bombings have hit central Baghdad since August.

U.S. commanders plan to end combat operations on Aug. 31 and withdraw all forces by the end 2011.

It's really disgusting how the Insurgents treat "their" people. These cowards stopped attacking military targets and turned their bombs onto civilians. I can't wait until the Iraqis push these assholes out back into Syria and Iran.

But don't forget Islam is a religion of peace.

But don't forget Islam is a religion of peace.

Peace through submission of Allah's will.
