LANSDALE, Pa. — Owners of a tree farm in suburban Philadelphia have come up with a way for those who would like to send a holiday tree to a soldier and his or her family.
Bustard's Christmas Trees is holding special events at its Lansdale tree farm so visitors can honor soldiers and their families with holiday trees and other gestures of goodwill.
Jay Bustard says the annual Trees for Troops event is happening this weekend.
People can buy a tree for a soldier and his family for $35, or they can make donation that will be sent to a U.S. military base to buy a tree.
