A Finnish civilian crisis management expert was wounded on Thursday morning in a car bomb explosion in the Afghan capital, Kabul.
The Finn, who is in Kabul on a police training programme, sustained minor hand wounds. The patient is being treated in hospital.
The Crisis Management Centre says the injured Finn’s family has been notified.
Twelve people died in the car explosion in central Kabul on Thursday.
Some 24 Finnish crisis management experts are currently stationed in Afghanistan through the Crisis Management Centre.
