"It'll get better after X." where X = whatever event happens to be in progress/on the near horizon that you're working up for. ProTip: It never does...
"One ship one crew, one shaft one screw" = supposed to be a submarine expression of solidarity between the engineering department and everyone else, sort of a 'we're all in this together' sentiment. Only they forget the last part of the saying, which reflects the reality of the situation: "and the screw and the shaft are always aft."

Friendly fire - isn't.
Recoilless rifles - aren't.
Suppressive fires - won't.
You are not Superman; Marines and fighter pilots take note.
A sucking chest wound is Nature's way of telling you to slow down.

10. Make sure the base is as far as possible from the conflict but close enough to have tax exemption.
US Navy Rules:
