Wow he was lucky there. You could see him getting hit in the helmet.

Thank god he wasn't killed or hurt badly. After he was ok the first thing he should of done was get to a phone or computer and contact his family and tell them to buy a lottery ticket since that day was probably the luckiest day of his life. Stay safe out their in Afghanistan

WOW. I hope they let him keep that helmet as a memento, a story for his grandkids.. Good thing for modern technology, that coulda been scary.

My God.... you could see how shaken he was. I think he was in a minor state of shock... like he couldn't actually believe he was shot in the head until he took his helmet off and saw for himself.

I'm amazed it missed the first guy and then clipped him in the helmet and ricocheted away from the third guy. There wasn't exactly a lot of room in there.

Watching something like this has to be demoralizing to the enemy. I remember that video from Iraq some years back where that Hadji sniper team has a camera and a rifle trained on some soldier by a humvee and the shooter takes his shot and drops the American, then the fucking American gets right back up and gets behind cover. I'd fucking hate to see my target get right back up after taking a center mass shot. Or in the case of this video, shrugging off a head shot.

I don't know if you watched the whole thing or a different one than I saw. If you watch it till the end after the medic gets up from being shot you can hear the hadji rover do a no start for about 30 seconds then a humvee blast over the median and chase dumbshit with the gun down! Glad he's ok! Although, I don't think he's the lucky one, the sniper was probably aiming at the guy in front of him.
