Is like saying you would never drive in any sort of vehicle because if you shoot one with HMG/rockets/cannons they will explode... APCs are not 'overrated' they serve a purpose, APCs are vulnerable to some weapons. If they didn't have these BTR-80s for example and just used some Ural-trucks, they would be even more fucked. Unless of course you insist on just footing it everywhere... Have fun carrying all that water/food/ammunition and waiting around for more feet to bring you resupply...

@Killer you said it all After awhile of carry a field pack and a full ammo load out for 6-10 miles i dont give a fuck if a if a wild pig is sitting there if you can mount it you can ride it after all that walking

@serpa6: Favorite feeling in the world is after a long march with a loaded down pack and you release that load. You feel so light its almost like you don't weigh anything and could run forever.

Yeah Yeah...Nobody likes long hauls with a full pack. What Iam saying is that the weapons that the APC are most vulnerable seem to be standard issue these days to the common insurgent.I might as well be driving a car when it comes to that. With that, & the fact Iam not into closed in spaces, especially ones that can get burning hot before they explode.
