No Soviet made equipment is what the Iraqi's used all the time we sold them very little American equipment before the persian gulf war But it was better to buy Soviet made weaponry then to give them american equipment as far a aviation goes

only US choppers left behing was a few blackhawks and Little birds for there SF operators all the equipment purchased for them by the US was soviet made or some other 3 power that makes the equipment
