Shatto Opines on America vs Belgium in the World Cup:
Again, Americans learn the lessons of Prevent Defense
and Prevent Offense.
Teams will continue using them anyway.
Only once did I see an American take the ball away from an
opponent.
Usually the defense were as effective as dribbling pylons
never blocking, or hindering, the Belgium passes.
The Americans had no sense of urgency until the overtime.
Even bad shooting is effective if you shoot enough.
The Belgians shot enough.
The sportsmanship was wonderful.
The fans rooted mightily to encourage the Americans
on the rare times they mounted a decent attack.
