Small correction; she WAS being combative and uncooperative. I don't know why she was being removed from the bus.
However; that being said, the deputy used unreasonable force to subdue her. He then grossly overstepped his authority in trying to get that guy's video, and trying to intimidate him. The deputies involved should be disciplined.

Very true she did nothing to even warrant that move. Maybe another occasion just before that? But that was then and this is now .If she tried to struggle sure use a submission on her What ever it takes beside using the force they did it was excessive.
Good job on part of the vet filming it. It should have been broadcasted not just so we can see what had happened.
But this video here let the public be aware of a bad apple.
But into day and age I bet AL Sharpton and Jesse Jackson are on there private jets on the way to make it bigger then it is.
This is what i hate about the media getting a hold of something like this but who can you bring it to besides those asshole cant trust them but they will do not for the person who got hurt, it's for ratings!!!

This video actually gained quite an amount of notoriety when it emerged a couple of years ago. I'm local and partial to this news dispatch. Here in California, having a mental illness or severe personality disorder with criminal convictions to complement, is like, in the words of Apocalypse Now, handing out speeding tickets at the Indy 500. Yes, the woman has issues, and no she did not deserve to be treated like that. She was obviously not being combative in the video. The person who actually shot the fucking video said she was not combative as well. There was one alleged report of a bus occupant reporting a disturbance. It is very likely the person(s) were intimidated by her presence and mental competency. "Normal" individuals have a tendency to clam up during close-proximity encounters with mental illness and/or personality disorder patients in public. Have any of you actually seen what an elbow does to an orbital socket or the nerves surrounding an eye? That elbow-punch move effected by Sheriff Deputy, Male, is indicative of malicious battery with intent to cause great bodily harm. She was being resistant at best. She was/is a big girl, but that aspect does not automatically invite physical assault. I'm a huge supporter of local law enforcement, but ole boy should not have conducted himself in that manner. Very unprofessional and top of that, in front of a live video/audio recording device.

That's the whole goddamn problem with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. The largest contract law enforcement agency in the world and they still can't afford to employ rapid crisis intervention teams

You are correct. I used the word "combative" in my original statement. She was, at most, being uncooperative, and argumentative, but not combative.
This is further evidence of the use of excessive force.

Well Done young man! To bad more people don't step up like you and conduct themselves in the manner you did! FYI to all, the courts have recently ruled that in situations like this where someone has filmed a police or government action, you DO NOT have to hand over the film and it is NOT unlawful to conduct filming.
