EDIT: I have never enlisted myself, so I know I shouldn't make fun of them, but it's kinda hard not to lol. They still get my respect for going through the training and enlisting.

Seriously though, did they stop issuing ammo pouches with two builtin grenade pouches on either side? If so why, and if not he's even more FUBAR than I previously thought.

Man.... I still can't get over this... it's like that clip of the drill sgt trying to teach the kid how to march.... "There's no cure for stupid".
I hope these guys end up learning a lesson that ensures their safety on deployment.

This is great! Believe you me this can happen. Somewhere on Salisbury Plain is a whole Gimpy (GPMG) that a squaddie managed to lose on a live fire exercise (no, it wasn't me). There was a hell of a fuss about it!!
