We dropped shit loads of munitions on the gooks and the only progress was by they boots on the ground yes air power was a huge help but most of the battles where hand to hand and on the ground inch by inch You live in jungle terrian Now imagine if there where a heavy force against your army being supplied by another superpower how would you air force fair not to well i bet and everything that you would fight for would have to be taken by your army hand to hand inch by inch Jungle warfare is so close in Airpower is sometimes useless even with todays technology.
