Sadly I think he's had it. No chute and I couldn't see a reserve on his chest.

RIP How come they did not try to pull him back in I know that was alot of pressure on that line but dam they should least tried RIP soldier no matter what country you are from

A proper setup would have included a retrieval winch to retrieve a Towed Jumper. Then again, a proper setup would have included a reserve so worst case they cut you loose and you pull your reserve. Now I know why they award foreign jump wings. You make it through alive and you deserve a bit more extra.
