unistall the version you just updated download AVG free virus scanner reinstall previous version you had of Firefox. Why i said download AVG just to make sure that is was not a fluke hack it does happen espicially with firefox It has happen to me at least twice Also go into control panel after scans are done and make sure all drivers are good for you computer It will save you alot of time then formatting if there is a malware virus or trojian horse present and you virus scanner missed it

make sure that all drivers and flash player are updated also acobe reader to be compatible with the browser
