Glad he's alright. 30 miles from the intended drop zone. Hahahaha... Time to put those leathered personal carries to good use. :P
Some what off topic.
Jumping is always the fun and glorious looking part (obviously not in this case. And jumping from Chinooks isn't for the standard guys). Kick ass adrenaline rush, extra jump pay and the wings you wear so proudly.
But they never mention, that most of the time (atleast when I was in) you're doing a forced/timed 18-30 mile road march, full combat load, back to the hanger. Definitely forgot to show (in the recruiting videos) the blistered feet and mole skin you have to apply to your whole upper torso after the flesh is rubbed off your shoulders, backside and all manner of chafing where ever your sweaty, salty battle dress rubs. Hahahahaha... go young man and "Be all you can be!!!" :evilgrin:
