Don't understand why it's edited a A-10 in the end, because the high speed jet that was right before the blast, was definitive not a A-10.

Yeah, definitely not a hog that dropped that bomb. The fly-by was a hog, but that was no turbo fan engine dropping the bomb. That was a jet raining hell on Taliban.

From my experience, the sound you are hearing before the blast is the approaching munition. Otherwise the sound would have continued after the blast since the "jet" doesn't disappear. This munition was most likely dropped by the A-10 due to the very close proximity to friendlies, and the "got your back" flyby. Carry on.

Good point... didn't realize the sound was gone after the explosion... couldn't really hear anything after the boom... if it were a jet, you're right, you'd still hear it banking away.
