Serpa6 is right about the dead sitting up even hours later. I have a friend who served in Vietnam who's job was transporting our fellow fallen American servicemen on aircraft and he had seen this very phenomenon - and to this day he still sees it in his sleep.

BTW, is it just me or does anyone else find it creepy that his friends are focused on posing his index fingers in the "God is No 1" gesture. When will the Koolaid huffing stop with these folks - their buddy is dead and gone and they are obsessed with what would appear is a need to show some sort of proof that their buddy died with not only his boots on, but while flying his index finger to Allah Almighty???

Unfortunately, I can just see his buddies at the poor guys funeral telling everybody, "yep, that's exactly how we found him, brains across the street, yet arms folded reverently with his pokey finger at a No 1 full salute"
