Iraq, on an tactical improvised air strip. The plane was damaged and unable to fly so they blew it up to prevent info leaking into insurgent hands. It was a C130J model. I dont know when this happened.

iraq sometime between 2005-2007 on the airstrip called 'sparrow hawk' near british base abu naji, alamara. us infantry had to along with normal fighting patrols had to provide protection sometimes when the c130s would land because the airstrip was about 1km outside the wire.
