I support all nato and allies and i am canadian but something about germans with guns still scares me even this far after WW2 i mean my grandfather jumped out of a plane into france made it home and all that but still it makes me uncomfortable

I can understand why it scares you but there's no reason to be scared.
We all moved way past this in Germany. You are our allies and we're fighting at your side.

Just look at what the KSK or the GSG9 has done.
I think that will put your mind at rest.
In school we're literally tortured for 2 years with our past. Every kid in school knows all the acts of horror the Nazi regime has commited. The generation of Soldiers you see today are completly different.
And to be honest I kinda take offense to your comment. Not every single German Soldier was a "Nazi". They went to war because they were drafted or they were ordered.
A lot of my male relatives fought in WW2 and most of them died or were fucked up for the rest of their lives.
So please calm down and show some respect.

I am German Polish. Both my grandfathers fought on the US side. My grandfather who was German has his legs burned and the one that was polish, had gotten shot through the eye I am German do i scare you because i own a gun? The man who ran that war is long dead and there will never be one like him in Germany again.
I live with this everyday, When people ask me what nationality I am. I do not bow my head and say I am German I look them straight in the face and tell them i am German. Yah some of them look at me different. Its a stereotype!!!
They are our allies brothers in arms and fight just as hard against these fucking goat fucking herders NOW WHAT DO YOU THINK OF GERMANS NOW!!!!!!
