SATX...How do you get away with running two different plates on your vehicle?
Is that a Power Stroke or gas? Looks well taken care of.

Thanks Mel, and this was the last year for the Powerstroke 6.0 turbo diesels. I wasn't really high on the 6.0's, especially since I traded in my '99 F250 Powerstroke 7.3 turbo diesel for this truck, but I just couldn't bring my self to buy the new 07's when they came out. I hate what Ford did to the front ends. They look like Tonka Toys now. I really preferred the lines on the trucks from '99 to '06
I miss my old truck. Should have bit the bullet and kept it and had both.

I have to say that the truck has served me well. I have not had any of the issues the 6.0 got a bad rep for (fingers crossed!) Here's a shot of me pulling a buddy out of a creek on his hunting property. Long story and yes it involved beer. I've pulled several people out of things that have left me scratching my head. I love to offroad it, but I don't go mudding for the sake of mudding. Takes too long to clean and I keep it nice.

As for the plastes, I had the Bass themed ones on there for a few years when I was fishing pretty heavily, then when my registration was due one year I simply had them switched over to the Whitetail plates. I would have gotten feral hogs ones if they had them!!
I love deer hunting, but the last two years on my hunting lease in Comal county, I can honestly say I hunted no less than 150 days/nights a year for hogs. I had 649 acres that abutted thousands of acres of Hill country land and it was 12 minutes from my driveway to the lease gates. I got addicted to hog hunting and started popping them at night with a Gen 3A night vision scope mounted on my Remington R25 in .308
No hogs up here in Canada, although I have heard from some CBSA border guards that they are over in upstate NY. Now I have seen first hand the damage they do and would certainly not wish for them to be up here, BUT if they were I would be happy to pick up where I left off.

Mel you have a lot of toys. Can I borrow the camper next summer? lol Mel is your truck gas or diesel? Do you drive your wife's car ? I was going to buy a wrx sti a few years ago but it seemed being 5' - 10" was to tall to be driving and shifting.
Hooterbro my ears orgasimed . Nice car!

I'm a very simple person. I get hurt when I ride bikes, because I get great ideas while riding, and get tickets when I have a nice vehicle. So other than my weapons, this is my only other toy (along with a house for it). Also anyone that has ever told you that ice fishing is foolish or boring is a liar and has not experience Minnesota Ice fishing. Also I got my bloody coveralls in the background from butchering pigs, I wouldn't call it a toy but I enjoy that more than almost anything.
That's something I've never done is ice fish Brenden. Not that I wouldn't like it,but fell through the ice once and have been a little girl when it comes to ice every since.
@ Jamie maybe. :D

:D You just gotta wait until there's 12 inches of ice, then you can even fish from your truck if you want. Just drive it out to the spot where they are biting, have a few beers, and enjoy the haul. It's heaven on earth as far as I'm concerned, mainly when you get into the north lakes of MN where there are few to no people, no roads, no airports. That's why the auger is the only toy I need :D .
