Well, 47% of population is kind of exaggeration IMHO. Latest numbers are 8.1%. So he indeed said something very stupid that can cost him his election.
Another thing is that those 8.1% are taken from labor capable force (Dunno if this term correct).
But considering that even many republican voters aren't to excited to vote for him, he should have been more careful.

Like car insurance total your car they got it covered or just pay for it and get nothing for what you paid for )

Ok In the year 2006 My insurance paid 45,000 dollars with no deductible for a implant of a defibrillator its called the David2 the same one Dirty Dick Cheney has. This with the surgery of wires implantation pocket for the device itself and the device.
It is now 2012 I had surgery in July for the replacement of the unit no wires or pocket had to be made and it was a cheaper unit then the David2 I said why is it cheaper because Medicare is paying for it But this surgery cost and don't shit a brick 125,000 dollars with a 1100 dollar deductible not included
Rom nut will privatize this type of procedure and then where will someone like me and others be This fucking thing cost more then my house

It is accurate in sense that 47% of Americans don't pay taxes. But who are those 47%?

Quick check in google reveals that roughly 20% are under age of 14 and roughly 12% are over age of 65. So 32% are not suppose to pay taxes or already did so when they were working.

It's pretty much the same as in Japan for example, or any other country for that matter.

So, if Romney implies that 47% of ALL Americans are not paying taxes, he shouldn't be just trowing statistics like that around, since majority of those people shouldn't be paying taxes by law, or already payed them when they were working.
