Haven't seen it yet. But reading that bill Clinton went all out on the republicans.
Well, when I turned the TV on I saw Pelosi's face and I shut it right off.
I couldn't watch the RNC either...I turned it off when I saw all the cowboy hats and shit.
Clint Eastwood? lmao he is a great actor and director but he needs to stay away from politics.
Michelle's speech was lame.
As for Bill's speech.....fact checkers will tear him down.
Also, I will not listen to someone that misled the Nation including his wife about his affairs.
If Bill would do something like that to his own wife/family.......what are the odds that he would fuck over the American people?
Fuck that piece of shit.
Is this what our forefathers had in mind? A big Circus or better yet a flea market where presidential candidates and other politicians are bought and sold..
I'm pretty sure they would be weeping if they were still alive.

The Clint Eastwood bit was real awkward...I loved watching me some 'every which way but loose when I was a kid with my grandad , and he is a legend but at its core it was an old man rambling and arguing with an empty chair...

But then the republicans did say “We’re not going to let our campaign be dictated by fact-checkers.”

I agree with Michael Steele when he went on bill maher recently, both conventions are just a bunch of scripted nonsense and not meant to talk about issues. he even pointed out that with the internet and politifact, politicians cannot get away wild accusations and a "marathon of lies" (Paul Ryan learned that the hard way).
they are basically pep rallies for the political parties.

It's been fun watching fox that's for sure. I watched the majority of the RNC and have watched the majority of the DNC so far. It really shows the people of the United States how you can't be in the middle on any kind of issue, or even have oposing views compared to the rest of the party.
Now last nights yea and nay vote for putting the words "god and jeruesalem" back into the DNC's statement was interesting. It was reassuring to see that the DNC still atleast has the ability to disagree with their party lines. At the same time I was also pleased to see the amount of votes for Paul at the RNC, as disgusted that they wouldn't even read off his name and the delegates he got. MN gave him 33 and only 7 for Romney and it wasn't even mentioned on the podium, which is a custom and a matter of respect for members of your own party.
One thing that bothered me from the DNC was Sandra Fluke, I'm all for insurance providers providing contreception at a very cheap rate. She made it seem like women couldn't even vote if the repubs were put back in power, which is oviously not true. That's not what she said, but it seemed just as extreme.
Clinton was good last night, the guy can speak.
Ryan, honestly the very first time I saw him speak one person popped into my mind almost immediatly, hitler. Ryan can speak, his body language and his ability for public speaking along with his intellect are a hell of a combination. I think people like that, in United States politics, are dangerous right now. Our country is far to divided, with no room for compromise between the members of these two parties and to have someone with that kind of ability and power is a dangerous thing. See the United States is not a republican nation, or a democratic nation, and if either party gets the power they want then the United States will fail, and become something it wasn't ever intended to be.

The convention seems to have a very relaxed schedule when it's time for someone start their speech.
Seems both parties had a little problem with the delegates voting for plank changes they establishment didn't want.
BJ Clinton has always been a good talker.

Didn't watch. Cartoons were on. I felt they represented real life better.

Can't say I watched either convention.
I don't partake in broken politics and refuse to vote for "red" or "blue" on grounds that doing so just perpetuates the status quo.
