With numbers like that and backing from Russia I don't think Assad is going anywhere in a hurry. He is certainly a better bet than the FSA/Al Qaeda/Taliban/Muslim brotherhood. Obama should concentrate on iran and leave this pot to simmer on its own.

I agree. Going to be much more bloodshed. Question remains, who else is going to be dragged into this along with us sooner or later. Looking ugly.
This war is the pinnacle of the Arab Spring. Israel has to be on edge.

I agree, let Russia clean their own back yard that they've been shitting in. We have more important issues to deal with. Like Iran and nukes.
WOW! I am shocked! A Real Army! Uniforms and all! I don't think I have ever seen a real armed force in the Middle East! Mostly punks with rusty knives or the spray and pray walking dead! It's kind of refreshing to see it.
