OK I dont mean to be negative but this is not 5000 pounds... this is a 2000 pound JDAM. I am 100% sure and SCHWIT it depends on the type of bomb and the fuse used, I think for this one is 275 meters for this one, further more sound travels at 350 meters per second so when you see the explosion count the seconds till you hear the boom and times it by 350 and you have the range.

how are u 100% sure? did u drop it? How do you know it wasnt 5,000 lbs? I can agree that if it was 5,000 lbs than it was not a Jdam but it could still be 5,000 lbs.
