Fricken education always works as it should! I hate this simply because I can not simplify it enough to avoid the periods.
I read that,and found myself sounding like one of those old computer voices.

To expand on your clock...its called gravitational time dilation. The closer the time device is to the source of gravity the slower time passes and vis versa.
They took two atomic clocks that had been perfectly synchronized and put one on the space shuttle and left the other on earth. When the space shuttle returned to earth it was found that Einstein was correct and the clock that was on the shuttle was ahead of the one left on earth.
