View Full Version : Why I hate liberals(democrats)

This is an example of why I hate liberals and democrats with such passion.
This story really just one of many reasons to hate them.
An American flag with President Obama's image in place of the stars flew over a Florida county's Democrat headquarters long enough to enrage local veterans who called the altered banner "a disgrace."
Lake County Democratic Party officials took down the flag, which flew just below a standard Old Glory on the flagpole outside headquarters in Tavares following complaints by local veterans. But merely taking it down wasn't enough for several local veterans, who said they fought for the flag Betsy Ross made famous, not one with a politician on it.
"It's absolutely disrespectful," Jim Bradford, a 71-year-old veteran who participated in the Bay of Pigs Invasion told FoxNews.com. "It's totally ridiculous. To put somebody's picture there, to me, it's a disgrace to do that."

"It's absolutely disrespectful," Jim Bradford, a 71-year-old veteran who participated in the Bay of Pigs Invasion told FoxNews.com. "It's totally ridiculous. To put somebody's picture there, to me, it's a disgrace to do that."
Bradford, an organizer with the Veterans Memorial at Fountain Park in Leesburg, Fla., snapped photos of the flag and distributed them to fellow veterans and friends. By late afternoon, he and several other veterans delivered a copy of the federal flag code to Nancy Hurlbert, chairwoman of the Lake County Democratic Party.
"We read that to her, but she would not accept that," Bradford said. "The discussion finally got a little bit heated."
The flag, which had been flying for several months without complaint and is available online for $12.95, was later removed by Hurlbert.
Bradford said Hurlbert apologized for the incident, but did not offer any promises that it wouldn't fly again.
"What really upsets me is that the flag had apparently been flying for months and no one had done anything about it," Bradford said. "I've got no hard feelings toward [Hurlbert], but people will be driving by there to make sure it doesn't go up again."
Hurlbert said Tuesday's incident was the first time anyone had complained about the flag, which she received as a gift two months ago.
"It leads me to believe that it's not about the flag," she told FoxNews.com. "Certain elements cannot accept Barack Obama as president."
Hurlbert said she intends to contact an attorney regarding the matter and remained non-committal as to whether she'll fly the flag again.
"I won't say no and I won't say yes," she said. "We want to find out what our legal rights are."
Jenn Meale, communications director for Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, referred FoxNews.com to state laws that pertain to the use of flags on public lands and property when asked for clarification as to whether Hurlbert could face any penalties.
Statute 256.05, which covers improper use of state or United States flag, or other symbol of authority, reads: "No person shall, in any manner, for exhibition or display:
"(1) Place or cause to be placed any word, figure, mark, picture, design, drawing or advertisement of any nature upon any flag, standard, color, ensign or shield of the United States or of this state, or authorized by any law of the United States or this state; or
"(2) Expose to public view any such flag, standard, color, ensign or shield upon which shall have been printed, painted or otherwise produced, or to which shall have been attached, appended, affixed or annexed any such word, figure, mark, picture, design, drawing or advertisement."
Meanwhile, Jay Agg, communications director for AMVETS, told FoxNews.com that the American flag should never be altered.
"While we are pleased the flag in question has since been removed from public display, the reported fact that it had flown for months without protest is a clear indication that we have much work to do in educating the public of the importance of protecting our flag," Agg wrote in an email. "This issue is especially important to AMVETS' members, the men and women who have proudly worn our nation's uniform and served under her flag."
The final insult to veterans? The flag is made in China.

The internet was buzzing this week with video of First Lady Michelle Obama apparently showing extreme disrespect to the American flag at a ceremony in honor of the victims of the September 11, 2001 terror attacks. As police and firefighters fold the flag to the sound of marching bagpipers, a skeptical looking Mrs. Obama leans to her husband and appears to say, “all this just for a flag.” She then purses her lips and shakes her head slightly as Mr. Obama nods.
Just for a flag? If that is what she said it is regrettable. Even with all her years being around those who hold high public office Mrs. Obama does not seem to understand the purpose and importance of ceremonies. They reaffirm the bonds of loyalty and fellowship that cement our national unity. Yes, at one level a flag is just a colorful piece of cloth. But it symbolizes much more. It is the emblem of our land and all its ideals. It has been present at every major event of any importance to the country, battles, celebrations, meetings, and the lunar landings. It is a symbol of unity that transcends party, faction and time. It is something uniquely and explicitly American. Men and women have fought and died for it. Our enemies hate us for it and burn it in the streets. All that should mean something.
Perhaps Mrs. Obama thinks that all the pomp and circumstance she experiences in her daily life has something to do with her, rather than the unofficial office she holds. If so she should disabuse herself of that notion quickly. The official gestures of respect shown to her are the same shown to any First Lady, and if she wasn’t married to the president she would be just another citizen. Ruffles and flourishes are not hers by right, but by coincidence of marriage. Yet this is the same woman who said she had never in her adult life been really proud of America before her husband ran for president, so it is no wonder she might dismiss a flag ceremony as just so much nonsense.
All this just for a flag? Has anyone said, “All this just for Michelle Obama?”

To my democratic friends lets talk freedoms rather than spew your hatred about what republicans believe.
First off this country has had God involved in everything and yet you as a democrat hasn't had your freedoms trampled on. You can believe in God or not you dont get your head sliced off if you dont.
Your right to own a gun isnt in danger with a Republican unlike the democrat anti gunners.
You are not being told to go buy those silly electric cars that dont work by a republican.
Do you want more taxes? Because obama is and will continue to expand government and of course that takes more taxes. He hasn't had more taxes to pay for his government so that is why the national debt has increased nearly double since he has been elected.
Gas prices are going up and likely to 5 dollars a gallon because obama wants that.
That is your money for whatever makes you happy that he is now pulling from you.
So tell my democrats are better?

I will try and help Eagle, ahhem, Liberalism in its self is totalitarianism. Do as we say and never question what we do. Period. The main thing about why we are not helping, when we need to help out some say now more than ever (10,000 + murders) is just inconvenience timing. Its 2012 election year. Where a Republican would not even think in this manner, it is VERY normal for Liberal mindset.
2nd - Party first Eagle, where Repub just use party as a tool, the Libs wear it as primary skin. For them, Party is above God, faith, family, country, community, Etc. Etc. Etc. As foriegn as this might sound to you or I, it is second nature to said Liberal. So you anwsered own question about 5$ gas, Obama wants it. Thats ... All ... The ... Liberal ... Needs ... To ... Hear. On every single aspect and every single subject. Period.

I loved Reagan even after becoming an adult and reading more about him and learning more about him. I can say that George senior was not so good. That led to him being a one term pres. I honestly disliked Clinton for bringing such indignity to the White House. He certainly didnt handle his ....um "affairs"(sorry I had to do it) with the same class Kennedy did. Bush jr. what could he do? He was pushed into the war on terror that Clinton allowed to happen. While Clinton was getting his blowjobs Al Qaeda was blowing up American targets he just kept on getting blowjobs while more Americans were being killed. Al qaeda grew more powerful and more bold while Clinton kept getting blowjobs.
So yes I hate democrats. I am keeping this conversation here on the forums not on the front page so not forcing everyone to see it or read it. I have also stated I am not so much a blind supported of the republican party either. They have screwed things up too. It is now a lesser of two evils for the most part.

Why would any president want higher gas prices? Even if you believe Obama is a secret Muslim alien time traveling space monster hell bent on destroying America, rising gas prices is a suicide mission. Primary objective is to get reelected. Plus, fox news under bush (iirc) claimed the president has little control over gas prices.. of course, Obama is different I guess.

gazz why would he want higher gas prices? Yet his energy policy is anti domestic oil because he thinks "oil is the energy of the past". It is yet to be seen if high oil/gas will lose him the election. The fact is obama has halted oil drilling on lands that had been open under Bush. He has vetoed the Canadian pipeline and he likes to tell us dumb Americans that if we use less gas then the price of oil will drop because of less demand. Well that isnt happening as oil demand is at a 15 year low. He just doesn't know from one day to the next what he is doing or saying yet his faithful continue to follow.

Nobel Prize winner Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn was asked to account for the great tragedies that occurred under the brutal communist regime he and fellow citizens suffered under.
Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn offered the following explanation:
“ Over a half century ago, while I was still a child, I recall hearing a number of old people offer the following explanation for the great disasters that had befallen Russia: 'Men have forgotten God; that's why all this has happened.'
Since then I have spend well-nigh 50 years working on the history of our revolution; in the process I have read hundreds of books, collected hundreds of personal testimonies, and have already contributed eight volumes of my own toward the effort of clearing away the rubble left by that upheaval. But if I were asked today to formulate as concisely as possible the main cause of the ruinous revolution that swallowed up some 60 million of our people, I could not put it more accurately than to repeat: 'Men have forgotten God; that's why all this has happened.
”
Vox Day notes concerning atheism and mass murder:
“ Apparently it was just an amazing coincidence that every Communist of historical note publicly declared his atheism … .there have been twenty-eight countries in world history that can be confirmed to have been ruled by regimes with avowed atheists at the helm … These twenty-eight historical regimes have been ruled by eighty-nine atheists, of whom more than half have engaged in democidal162 acts of the sort committed by Stalin and Mao …
The total body count for the ninety years between 1917 and 2007 is approximately 148 million dead at the bloody hands of fifty-two atheists, three times more than all the human beings killed by war, civil war, and individual crime in the entire twentieth century combined.
The historical record of collective atheism is thus 182,716 times worse on an annual basis than Christianity’s worst and most infamous misdeed, the Spanish Inquisition. It is not only Stalin and Mao who were so murderously inclined, they were merely the worst of the whole Hell-bound lot. For every Pol Pot whose infamous name is still spoken with horror today, there was a Mengistu, a Bierut, and a Choibalsan, godless men whose names are now forgotten everywhere but in the lands they once ruled with a red hand.
Is a 58 percent chance that an atheist leader will murder a noticeable percentage of the population over which he rules sufficient evidence that atheism does, in fact, provide a systematic influence to do bad things? If that is not deemed to be conclusive, how about the fact that the average atheist crime against humanity is 18.3 million percent worse than the very worst depredation committed by Christians, even though atheists have had less than one-twentieth the number of opportunities with which to commit them.
If one considers the statistically significant size of the historical atheist set and contrasts it with the fact that not one in a thousand religious leaders have committed similarly large-scale atrocities, it is impossible to conclude otherwise, even if we do not yet understand exactly why this should be the case. Once might be an accident, even twice could be coincidence, but fifty-two incidents in ninety years reeks of causation!
Some very good reads on atheist and their murdering ways...

There is no link between atheism and mass murder. There can't be, there is no logical pathway from atheism to murder, there is no religious texts to tell you how and who to hate and kill. Atheism has no cause, leaders, agenda.
Stalin, mao didn't kill because they where atheists, they killed because they where totalitarians. I'll quote 3 people who explain it better.
people of faith often claim that the crimes of Hitler, Stalin, Mao and Pol Pot were the inevitable product of unbelief. The problem with fascism and communism, however, is not that they are too critical of religion; the problem is that they are too much like religions. Such regimes are dogmatic to the core and generally give rise to personality cults that are indistinguishable from cults of religious hero worship. Auschwitz, the gulag and the killing fields were not examples of what happens when human beings reject religious dogma; they are examples of political, racial and nationalistic dogma run amok. There is no society in human history that ever suffered because its people became too reasonable.
-Sam harris
another thing to realize is that these reigns were not driven by Atheism, or a doctrine of Atheism; there is no such doctrine for Atheism, any more than there is a doctrine for not believing in fairies. There is no logical pathway between unbelief and violence “in the name” of unbelief. There is, however, a logical pathway between Theism and violence. Not everyone who is religious follow this pathway, in fact, most do not. Let’s be clear. Most religious people would not hurt a fly if they can help it. However, the logical pathway to violence does exist from religious doctrine nevertheless.
-dawkins
Steven Weinberg points out about Religion; “With or without it, you'd have good people doing good things and evil people doing bad things, but for good people to do bad things, it takes religion.”
-dawkins again
If the only reason people aren't out murdering each other is because of fear of punishment from a sky fairy... then humanity is fucked.

Weinberg should leave theology to the theologians. And of course Sam Harris, a self avowed atheist, and that makes money on his dogma, is not going to highlight similarities between the two. Sam Harris tries to derive values from data, which is superfulous. Where is this quote from Moral Landscape?
I can cherrypick qoutes from Dawkins and agree, but then I feel he will contradict himself. There are different types of alcohol as there are different types of atheism, Christianity, Islamic beliefs, etc.

There is no link. Atheism has no agenda, no scripture to promote hatred or dogma. Coupled with the common examples (starlin, mao) being totalitarians, this is clearly the cause. Totalitarian has much more in common with religious values, than secular.
They also both wore pants. Clearly the link here.

They were totalitarian regimes. ((Totalitarianism (or totalitarian rule) is a political system where the state recognizes no limits to its authority and strives to regulate every aspect of public and private life wherever feasible. Totalitarian regimes stay in political power through an all-encompassing propaganda campaign, which is disseminated through the state-controlled mass media, a single party that is often marked by political repression, personality cultism, control over the economy, regulation and restriction of speech, mass surveillance, and widespread use of terror.))
Atheism is a by product of it, as tyranny is a single hand rule and a single handed control over minds. Religion offers alternative to that control and as such considered to be a threat to that control.
All of them did those things not because they were atheists, they were atheists because they wanted a total control over their way of ruling the nation. Religion btw was used when it was needed, in USSR that is, in propaganda ways and such.

Here is obama being tough on terror right???
KABUL, Afghanistan (AP) — Five top Taliban leaders held by the U.S. in the Guantanamo Bay military prison told a visiting Afghan delegation they agree to a proposed transfer to the tiny Gulf state of Qatar, opening the door for a possible move aimed at bringing the Taliban into peace talks, Afghan officials said Saturday.
The U.S. is considering transferring the five from the prison in Cuba to a presumably less restrictive custody in Qatar as an incentive for the Taliban to enter negotiations — though Washington has not yet outright agreed to the step, and some in Congress oppose it.
Talks with the Taliban are seen as key to bringing some level of calm to Afghanistan, allowing American troops to come home without the country descending into further chaos. But months of efforts to cobble together talks have failed.
Afghan President Hamid Karzai initially opposed sending the prisoners to Qatar instead of home to Afghanistan. But his government sent a delegation to Guantanamo Bay this past week to visit the prisoners, a possible sign of Karzai's consent to the arrangement.
The five prisoners agreed to the transfer as long as they would be reunited with their families in Qatar, said two senior Afghan officials.
A former U.S. official familiar with the negotiations over the prisoners confirmed the Afghan delegation's visit.
All three officials spoke on condition of anonymity because of the sensitivity of the issue.
The delegation could not have visited the prison without U.S. approval, but a spokeswoman for the White House national security council declined to comment.
The prisoners proposed for transfer include some of the detainees brought to Guantanamo during the initial days and weeks of the U.S. invasion that toppled the Taliban government in Afghanistan in 2001. At least one has been accused in the massacre of thousands of Shiite Muslims in Afghanistan, according to U.S. and other assessments, but none are accused of directly killing Americans.
The Obama administration does not want to send the prisoners to Afghanistan, in part for fear they might be released. The men are considered "enemy combatants" who were, at least until recently, considered too dangerous to release.
They would likely be held in Qatar under conditions that are less secure and less restrictive than at Guantanamo.
Afghan officials said previously that they discussed with the U.S. a plan to give Afghanistan a form of legal custody over the men if they are released as a way to satisfy their earlier objection to sending the prisoners to a third country. It's unclear whether that plan came under discussion during the recent visit or if anything was finalized.
Several members of Congress oppose any release, and lawmakers have erected several legal hurdles that military and other officials acknowledge would slow and complicate the process.
Several GOP lawmakers who object to the transfer have pushed the White House to keep the detainees in Guantanamo "until the end of hostilities," a U.S. official with knowledge of the negotiations said earlier this year. The official spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss conversations with the White House.
Of particular concern is Mullah Norullah Nori, described in U.S. military documents as one of the most significant former Taliban officials held at Guantanamo. He was a senior Taliban commander in Mazar-e-Sharif when the Taliban fought U.S. forces in late 2001. He previously was a Taliban governor in two provinces Northern Afghanistan, where he has been accused of ordering the massacre of thousands of Shiite Muslims.
The U.S. is increasingly focused on jump-starting peace negotiations with the Taliban, especially because the country is scheduled to bring most of its combat troops home from Afghanistan by the end of 2014.
The Taliban have agreed to set up a political office in Qatar to facilitate negotiations. But the peace process has been shrouded in rumor and uncertainty, and it's unclear how much urgency the militants feel to strike a deal given that foreign troops are on their way out.

this comment below belongs here and not on the Trayvon Martin post except that it was a response to gazz and his remarks on that other thread.
i have posted several reasons why I have disdain for democrats(liberals). If you remove religion from the two sides of politics liberals still stand for gun grabbing, socialism, less freedoms more government control, it is very simple. This is so simple to understand and I dont understand military men or women that support the democrats either. The democrats are actually anti military. Obama is going to reduce benefits and jobs across the entire military if he gets his way.
To what extent will be only by how much the republican party can resist his goal. Its odd that democrats are all for entitlements for the poor yet they are against entitlements for our military. Why would you not want to support the people who are risking their lives to keep us free and safe? The poor are doing nothing in a figurative definition to support America. The answer is they are a segment that democrats have embraced only for the votes that can be gained from this segment. You cant be anti gun and pro military and so at least democrats have that understood.
There is so much more I can go on and I probably will just not now.

COMMENTARY | President Barack Obama signed an executive order Friday titled "National Defense Resources Preparedness." The news media is unsure of the precise meaning of the information included in the order and average citizens are left to figure out what it means in general. As a longtime supporter of the president, I've been reluctant to jump to conclusions, but the general tide of recent legislation and this order give me reason for concern about the intentions of this administration.
The order lists items such as the power of the executive departments of the U.S. federal government and its agencies to "identify requirements for the full spectrum of emergencies, including essential military and civilian demand." This same section, labeled "General Functions," also enumerates these departments and agencies might ensure availability of domestic resources and industries to secure national defense. Do these and other line items signal that America is on the verge of another war -- and will that war be with another nation or on U.S. citizens?
The first step in the direction of applying military law to private citizens occurred Dec. 31, when the president signed into law the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012. This legislation sounded the initial alarm to me because although its main purpose is for providing necessary funding of the military, it included provisions that allowed the indefinite detention without charge of private citizens.
The next signal of alarm came on March 8, when the president signed into law H.R. 347, the Federal Restricted Buildings and Grounds Improvement Act of 2011. The law restricts protests at political functions among other things. This is offensive since the U.S. was founded upon protest and revolution.
Perhaps each law taken individually wouldn't be a cause for concern, but the totality of these three suggests the federal government is envisioning more control over the civilian population than it has ever enjoyed. The president's order on Friday suggests to some the executive branch might be ready to enact martial law in peacetime.
Smack dab in the middle of the baby boomer generation, L.L. Woodard is a proud resident of "The Red Man" state. With what he hopes is an everyman's view of life's concerns both in his state and throughout the nation, Woodard presents facts and opinions based on common-sense solutions.

Just saying but:
Just about every president since Franklin Roosevelt had "Czar" appointees in their administration. Bush had a total of 36 positions (many temporary) filled by a total of 46 different individuals over the years, of which 21 were confirmed by the U.S. Senate. That leaves a total of 25 "czars" which were not approved by congress.
Obama has been on the same path, with some quite puzzling "czars". Really a video game "Czar"???? In this day and age with the defecit as it is, it's a waste of money, time, and effort. Edit: I could not find an accurate number for Obama, but would sure love to hear it.
These two are my favorite:
President Bush along with congress in 2001, a democratic Senate and a republican house, approved the Patriot Act. A blatant anti constitutional policy act. He also opened the door, and allowed the following-
President Obama along with congress in 2011, a democratic senate and a republican house, approved the latest disgusting NDAA. A blatant slap against the constitution. He is building and adding more power to an already overloaded with power position in the American government.
I could go on an on about both presidencies and both political parties, as they are both so damn broken it isn't even funny. I won't though because it isn't worth the time, these are just two of the glaring issues I see.
That being said, I would take a bullet for either of these men (or anyone from any party who is elected as president) because they are the president. A few months ago I stopped at a gas stationto get a bite to eat while in uniform. This guy came up to me to talk politics, he laid into about how bad Obama was. I nodded my head in agreement to avoid any kind of disagreement or scuffle over politics. He concluded by smiling and saying, "Shit atleast I know I can count on you military guys. You wouldn't take a bullet for Obama if you had the chance to and you saw it coming would ya?" I simply replied, "I am a member of the United State Military, and as a member of the military it is my duty and responsibility to take the bullet for Obama regardless of political ideals I may have. It is up to civilians to decide what happens next, the military is just here to ensure that you are able to make those choices in the future." He laughed called me a "No good liberal piece of shit." and walked out the door, I in turn thanked him loud enough for him to hear.
No matter who gets elected it will be the same, just a different party at the helm. So just pick your poison.

I agree with that that both sides are corupt and neither side truly gives a shit about us average joe Americans.
I would still prefer a republican in the white house than a democrat as we can see obama has done some things that honestly go well beyond Bush and the patriot act. I know that many want to generalize that the partiot act is like the NDAA now but truthfully it is not. Then I have to add that the patriot act was all but one piece of legislation that was enacted after arguably the worst attack on American soil EVER.
So yes it did infringe and then also it had a expiration date if you recall? They did renew the Patriot Act but unless someone knows more it needs to be reviewed and renewed over time.
Then comes this most recently to my attention today.
WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. intelligence community will now be able to store information about Americans with no ties to terrorism for up to five years under new Obama administration guidelines.
Until now, the National Counterterrorism Center had to immediately destroy information about Americans that was already stored in other government databases when there were no clear ties to terrorism.
Giving the NCTC expanded record-retention authority had been called for by members of Congress who said the intelligence community did not connect strands of intelligence held by multiple agencies leading up to the failed bombing attempt on a Detroit-bound airliner on Christmas 2009.
"Following the failed terrorist attack in December 2009, representatives of the counterterrorism community concluded it is vital for NCTC to be provided with a variety of datasets from various agencies that contain terrorism information," Director of National Intelligence James Clapper said in a statement late Thursday. "The ability to search against these datasets for up to five years on a continuing basis as these updated guidelines permit will enable NCTC to accomplish its mission more practically and effectively."
The new rules replace guidelines issued in 2008 and have privacy advocates concerned about the potential for data-mining information on innocent Americans.
"It is a vast expansion of the government's surveillance authority," Marc Rotenberg, executive director of the Electronic Privacy Information Center, said of the five-year retention period.
The government put in strong safeguards at the NCTC for the data that would be collected on U.S. citizens for intelligence purposes, Rotenberg said. These new guidelines undercut the Federal Privacy Act, he said.
"The fact that this data can be retained for five years on U.S. citizens for whom there's no evidence of criminal conduct is very disturbing," Rotenberg said.
"Total Information Awareness appears to be reconstructing itself," Rotenberg said, referring to the Defense Department's post-9/11 data-mining research program that was killed in 2003 because of privacy concerns.
The Washington Post first reported the new rules Thursday.
The Obama administration said the new rules come with strong safeguards for privacy and civil liberties as well. Before the NCTC may obtain data held by another government agency, there is a high-level review to assure that the data "is likely to contain significant terrorism information," Alexander Joel, the civil liberties protection officer at national intelligence directorate, said in a news release Thursday.
The NCTC was created after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks to be the central U.S. organization to analyze and integrate intelligence regarding terrorism.
Best comment I saw about this was this
Politicians know that they are leading the country to a path of economic collapse. They know that the time will come when the goverment will have to take military control of the country. The goverment has passed numerous laws using terrorism as cover to lay the groundwork for martial law and imprisonment without due process. Just as democrats didn't say anything when Bush first passed his patriot act republicans are not saying anything about the laws currently being passed.
My opinion is The politicians want to be able to protect themselves when there is an uprising from the people who are outraged and no longer standing for broken politics.
There will be a gun grab it is inevitable in my opinion. I respect the honesty that many express here as I truly just give my heart felt thoughts and opinions too.
If the government whether it be obama or another hitler enacts martial law here in America and trys to grab our guns I promise you on my childrens lives and my own they or you if you are military and are ordered to come take my guns will do it only after you have taken my life first. That is not a threat nor a dare it is just how it will be with me personally.
