after a really f***g hard day

meanwhile the goverment here blowing up all of the economy ....
the EU crisis is here, 80% of the credits was CHF based, 5-6 years ago when its started the CHF/HUF was around 165, today ~240, people cant pay the credits
and today the gas(benzin) is around 8,5-9USD/gallon.....while for my works in other eu or US/CA/AUS countries 5-6 times higher the salary
so, really nice place.....lol, i wanna move now ......

yes i'm going on Vacation ... Sicily, then Rome for a few days then Greece then back to Sicily to rendezvous with all the other guys then Home.
The Rome/Greece thing I am happy about, going home is another story. I feel more at home deployed then at home sitting on my couch.

A member sent me a PM thanking me for the pics I posted on the front page and told me a personal story and called me a hero, I thanked him but reminded him anyone that puts on a uniform in service of his fellow man is a hero, I also said I regretted that certain branches get more attention then others.

Another member mentioned that he was "a regular Air Force worker" I told him "much respect to you, don't just say "regular Air Force worker" it's you guys that keep Afghanistan running,and it's you guys that get us where we need to go as safely as possible so we can do our job."

We generally get embarrassed when called a hero because we genuinely don't think we deserve that title. no one I know thinks he is a hero..but they would gladly put that title on any of their friends or other serving member.
It's really really hard to explain the mind set without getting cheesy and cliche, but we all share Mr Winters sentiment.
Once I post this comment sometime tomorrow I will think of the perfect way to explain it lol

Quick online search for flight times from London to Kabul is roughly 7:23 min flight. So factoring in flight time with out the stop in Kuwait it is possible but considering it is a chartered flight from the UK to Kuwait. Then military flight to Kabul. Time between posts is too tight unless the first one was in made in Kuwait. Then very likely he is there. However I'd let SS respond in PM to either of us considering the need for OPSEC.

SS , your a soldier so understand it from our side, it's one of the skills you have to have being a soldier, we have had so many fakers/imposters on here.

Deep down i hope your telling the truth and i feel for you bro, but the last thing we want is some1 going around on our website telling stories (again deep down i hope it is true) and lying about it all, it's the last thing we want and it makes our blood boil.

We do this to protect the Armed Forces aswell as ourselves, we have called out fakers before and that will not change, do not have an attitude like that

we like to listen to stories, infact alot of us here do, but anyone who hasn't been identified as Genuine we can't take their word for it, the fact of the matter is, alot of people out there fake being soldiers and tell stories etc, just so they can make themselves feel important Online (it's a daily occurance on the web)

If you use a dongle you would not need to use a hack to bypass restrictions imposed by the MoD to gain access to this site. You would be using your own laptop, dongle, and network. Is that not correct? I'm just trying to understand.....
