Hey guys,
Been searching for a clear cut answer to this little quandary but I I've only gotten the run-around from the local authorities.
I live in one county (Suffolk, NY), and work in another (Nassau, NY). I do large cash drops and carry a good chunk of change from point A to Point B, and walking to my car at night can be a little sketchy.
My question is this; do I apply for a permit in the county of my residence, or the county my business (where I primarily conduct my business). I'm looking for a carrier's permit.
I contacted both police precincts in both counties, and each one gives me the run-around. Any input?
