Weapons used to double tap OBL

Over at soldiersytems dot net they had an interesting article about the weapons used, information from a supposed very excellent source, used to kill OBL was a HK416, chambered in 5.56. I do remember some time ago, can't remember which site, that Delta had changed over to the HK416 due to it's survivability of parts and its new operating system.

Anyone else found any other info on this?

I know for a fact that Delta uses the HK 416. This comes to me from a source that would know.
