Suspected militants in Pakistan have set fire to at least 27 tankers carrying supplies to Nato troops in Afghanistan.
Around 10 gunmen attacked the vehicles at a truck stop on the edge of Shikarpur town in Sindh province.
A police officer said they forced the drivers and other bystanders to run away before starting the fires.
No one was injured during the incident.
The attack comes just one day after Pakistan closed a major border crossing following the death of three of its soldiers in two Nato cross-border strikes.
Although the latest attack has not been officially linked to that incursion, it is being taken as a sign insurgents in the area are expanding their reach.
The disruption could also renew tensions with the US, whose alliance - though crucial to Pakistan in its efforts to stabilize neighbouring Afghanistan - is widely unpopular within the country.

Your anti Pakistani in fact anti everything rhetoric is annoying. You do not have a clue about that part of the world. It I'd funny when ever there are anti Pakistan anti Muslim stories you are the first one to comment and do not have a clue about anything. Pakistan has always been an allie of the west it goes back to the cold war. It is exactly because of this alliance Pakistani suffered from rxtemism and terrorism. If this us not enough it gets accused of not doing enough nit being sincere despite losing more to terrorism than any of it's other allies. It is exactly these suspicions unfairly levelled against that country the people their wants Pakistan to pull out of the so called for on terror.

Well allied forces should not be there. They are targets because they are occupying accounted on behest of US imperial policy. Afghans have always resisted foreign occupation. That is their right just as our right in Britain to resist an army which invaded our shores. This war has nothing to do with fighting terrorism this an excuse US used to get support from US public. Just the way Blair used it to get support from British people. US had planned the war in Afghanistan long before 9/11. Google trans afghan pipeline. British soldiers ar dying for nothing but US ego of dominating Afghanistan. Bring British Tropps home they sacrifice for US imperial policy is not worth it. If the US want to get defeated there trust me they will let them get defeated. Why is it Britain is always asked to do Americas dirty war for them. This Country has also become a terrorist targets because of supporting US illegal wars. Ask MI5

Please tell me why we are messing around in that region . Surely it is so stupid ? Are we the british public realy worried whether democracy exists out there or not. Should we not have our soldiers at home daring anyone to come and hurt us The fact is if this was a Pakistani supply convoy heading from Birmingham to London to supply an occupying Pakistani army would we be angry if it suffered the same fate Why are we there at all?
