THE SAS will launch surprise attacks on the Taliban - by parachuting in behind their lines on a BUGGY.
Two men will DRIVE the Rhino Air out of a transport plane, then steer the chute in mid-air onto the ground.
A source said: "One of the issues at the moment is that elite troops have to operate on foot after landing behind enemy lines. The Rhino would change that."

Special Forces have spent months testing the vehicle in "dummy runs" in Britain to see if it could be used in Afghanistan.
The Rhino Air must be launched from at least 8,000ft and can float 25 miles before coming to earth at about 10mph.
The source said: "The hope is it could make a massive difference on the ground. It would give our elite troops a huge element of surprise."
The buggy's design is based on the frame of a quad bike. It can carry up to half a ton of kit, including ammunition and medical supplies.
The men in it have to wear their own separate parachutes, in case of emergency.
