I Swore into the Navy this past wednesday. I qualify for the NUKE program, but first I have to take the NUKE test and get accepted into the program, until then my MOS is HM (Hospital Corpsman). My recruiter keeps telling me how Nuke is the best job to get, but I find myself wanting to stay corpsman.
My question is, what exactly is the NUKE program all about? It seems like a lot of studying, math, physics, and other boring shit to me. If I'm wrong please let me know, cause as things stand right now, I'm going to tell my recruiter that I have no interest in going NUKE and I'm going to stay HM.
